You were not made merely to pay rent and survive. A call to look deep within and recover the purpose heaven wrote over your life before you were born.
If we were placed on this earth only to pay the bills and keep the rent current, it would be a strange arrangement — for Scripture says there are rooms in heaven that cost nothing at all. The purpose of your life reaches far past food, clothing, and self-gratification.
From the beginning God set a greater work in motion: “Let them fill the earth.” You are a vessel chosen for that work, part of a generational blessing, written into a plan that carries an end-time message. The tragedy is how easily the noise of survival makes us forget to look inside and ask what we were actually called to carry.
So search deep. Do not trade your birthright for a bowl of soup, as Esau did. If you have lost the sense of your purpose, may God open your eyes this season, set your feet on the path he marked out, and place covenant helpers around you who will not let his hand depart from your life.
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
