Not every delay is denial. Some things are not missing — they are being intentionally withheld.
When something does not move, does not open, does not come together, we assume something is wrong. But what if the restraint is strategic? What if what you are asking for is good — it is just not aligned yet? Not every delay is denial. But not every “no” is the enemy either.
The promise is not that you get everything you want, but that no good thing is withheld from you. Meaning: if something is restrained, it is either not good in its current form or timing. It calls for deeper trust in God’s judgment, as the waiting intentionally forms you — purifying your motives, strengthening your inner stability, and freeing you from urgency.
Instead of asking, “Why isn’t this happening?” ask, “What is this restraint forming in me?” Because when the “yes” finally comes, you will not just be relieved — you will be ready.
