“Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.”
Maturity is not how strongly you feel — it is how wisely you respond.
Maturity is not how strongly you feel — it is how wisely you respond. The enemy often loses access to your life not when situations stop happening, but when they stop controlling your reaction. When you react, you speak from pain, fear, or misunderstanding. When you respond with God, you speak from peace, clarity, and alignment.
God is building something powerful in you: a spirit that is not easily provoked, a mind that is anchored, and a heart that listens before it speaks. Not everything that touches your emotions deserves your reaction. Some things are distractions. Some are tests. Some are invitations to grow in restraint and authority over your inner life.
God is training you this season to slow down the space between what happens to you and what comes out of you. That space is where spiritual maturity is formed.
