“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God…”
You do not have to stay bound to what formed you. What has followed you is being released.
Notice what keeps disturbing your peace or pulling you back into old cycles. Do not ignore it or accept it as normal — pause in that moment and declare: “This has no hold over me. I am no longer bound to this. I belong to God, and I walk in His freedom.”
If you are in a season where life feels influenced by things you did not intentionally choose — old patterns, generational cycles, unhealthy agreements, or environments that shaped your thinking without your realizing it — Scripture describes these as “altars”: anything that quietly takes the place of God’s voice and shows itself as fear, rejection, shame, or control.
You do not have to stay bound to what formed you. The Lord is freeing you from burdens, pain, and affliction, and breaking every agreement tied to your life that does not come from Him. What has followed you is being released. What weighed you down is being lifted. You are stepping into a new place of freedom, in Jesus’ name.
